He left....

Just like that.... with an apology... without saying goodbye. He left me in the lurch.

And to think I had so much hope... so many aspirations... so much to ask of him. A lesson maybe? Payback time for all those I've left in the lurch? Maybe not. But right now, I'm at rock bottom and still digging.
