"Water in the lungs", they say. Paah! That is nothing as far as I am concerned. After all, in a body composed nearly entirely of water, what's a little H2O in the lung.

"Could be TB" they say, conspiratorially this time.

I blink.

"The TB?"

"Yup! But in order to be really really sure, we need to run a whole load of tests."

I blink again.

"It can't be TB! TB is something that died out in the seventies.... TB is not a disease that people like us..."

I cease and rewind to a couple of years ago, when guppy had the same thing. Only that time, it was water around the heart.

One would think that time and knowledge would have softened the blow. But know what?

It only makes it worse!
