Googlebombed!

Check this out!
Someone had bombed google again! The last time, if you typed in 'Dishrag of India' — you got the Times of India page popping up.
This time, type in 'Weapons of mass destruction' and see what happens!

Nostalgia time

It seems to be the season for old friends to crawl out of the mists of time and say hi. Holy Devil just did. It's been what? Three... four years since we even e-mailed each other. He's probably been in the states for 7 odd years now, and is well on his way to getting that coveted green card.

Anyways, the Holy Devil did get in touch and asked about life and all. Was glad. It was a simple online form that wanted people to enter their birthday records that did the trick. Way to go, and here's to more such friends. May they crawl out more often!

Yay!

I know this belongs to a friend, but then... Yay!

Karpellum finally got in touch. And he's in Sweden of all places. With a Swedish girlfriend he hopes to marry soon. He also hopes to settle there through this marriage. And he's looking much better than usual. He's also looking happy! Great.

Karpellum also brought to the fore memories of the bee. Wonder where he is? Should be back in good ole England by now. But hen, whatever happened to the MBA stuff? If I'm not mistaken, he's probably with some MNC by now, making his mark. But with a father as famous, he's goint to find the ceiling a little difficult to break! All the best though bee. And get in touch soon!

Islami seems to have quit the previous place. All e-mails to him have been bouncing back! Wonder where he is now? It's not like him to disappear clean off the face of the earth. Hope all is well. Apparently, BN too has been having problems locating him!

Among other things, I finally made some headway with the project. Hope all goes well.

How the mighty have fallen...

They came in here with their noses up in the air and a whale sized attitude. They marched in here equipped with tons of gyan and little opportunity to test their knowledge. They breezed into a set-up that lavished praise on them and treated them like gods.

Little did they know what lay in store for them!

A while ago, when confronted by creatures of their kind, I chose to ignore or just pass them by. Of course I burned with jealousy about the unfairness of a system that graded people on the ability to learn by rote and not discover the thrills of learning from experience.

But now, each time I see one of them, my heart swells with pride. I've cut my teeth on the toughest testing ground and I know that I can easily compare with the best of them.

Why then do I lack the sense to try and do it?
